Arnold · California
A warm, spacious cabin made for slow mornings, loud dinners, and deep breaths beneath the trees.
Space to gather. Room to breathe.
Tucked into a serene, park-like setting near Calaveras Big Trees, Caisleán Bear turns a group getaway into something that feels easy.
Parents can linger by the fire while kids claim the game room. Friends can spread out across the deck, then come together around the dining table. Every detail is arranged for a peaceful, deeply connected stay.
Caisleán Bear is a light-filled A-frame cabin where a wall of windows brings the redwoods into the great room and the whole group can settle into the rhythm of the forest.
The main house has three bedrooms and 2.5 baths, plus a separate second living room that doubles as a fourth sleeping space and game room. Premium beds and Egyptian cotton sheets make the quiet hours count, while the kids’ room adds queen bunks, a convertible twin-to-king bed, a TV, games, ping-pong, a mini fridge, and a microwave.
Outside, the wraparound deck is set up for long meals, grilling, and evenings by the gas fire. A private sauna, hot tub, wood-burning stoves, outdoor fire pit, lighted bocce court, and horseshoes give everyone something to look forward to without leaving the property. Seasonal Blue Lake Springs access adds swimming, tennis, pickleball, and more just a short drive away.
The good stuff is already here
There is no pressure to fill the day. Warm up in the sauna, sink into the hot tub, light the fire, or let the game room settle the eternal question: “What should we do?”

We loved the house's location—right next to the forest—and really enjoyed the wood-burning fire. The panoramic windows are beautiful.
